06 - CHHATRAPATHI SQUARE METRO STATION
Concept
The station design is induced by the Raigad Fort Architecture which was made the capital of the Maratha Empire during the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji. The figure of Chhatrapati Shivaji has been premeditated on the elevations of this station. The arches of the window from the fort have been replicated in the station elevation to reveal the true inspiration behind this station design.
