This station design is inspired by the Bandra station which is a Grade I heritage landmark and a breathtaking
example of a railway station building that masterfully blends colonial idioms with vernacular roof forms.
The Khapri Metro Station has the characteristic features of the Tudor style of architecture such as steeply pitched
roof with a prominent cross-gable detail.
The station’s multiple-level roof plan with the roof integrates a Tudor-style truss similar to the crown of Bandra station.
